Remote CheckUp

Remote CheckUp

The CheckUp Bag is a Swedish innovation, developed by Explizit Ab, and it aims at improved remote monitoring of biosignals.  The service consits of portable and wireless biosignal measurement devices which send their results automatically to a database server. The measurement results can be viewed and evaluated immediately on-line through an Internet portal.

CheckUp Care

The CheckUp Care Bag will be piloted in Finland and in Norway. The Finnish pilot will be implemented in the Technology Health Care Centre of Kakkuri, Oulu. Cardiac patients will be given the opportunity to record their ECG and other biosignals at home instead of traveling to the health care centre.

In Norway, four northern municipalities joined forces and piloted the Bag in Lenvik, Torsken, Tranøy and Berg. The Bag included CRP measurement in addition to other wireless devices. This will reduce traveling of patients as medical information is being moved around instead of people. Watch a preview of a video which will be part of the with final project report, where Chief Consultant Frank Larsen from the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine tells about the Norwegian pilot.
