ALIAS Workshop

The Competitive Health Services was presented in the ALIAS Mid-Term Workshop on the 26th January 2011 in Lyon, France.

The ALIAS project is aimed at delivering and piloting two telemedicine-related services, Information provision and Advice querying. ALIAS network hospitals can access information about a patient coming from any (other) ALIAS region and to require expert advice on a patient under treatment (upon patient consent).

The mid-term workshop brought together different stakeholders of the ALIAS project as well as three regional ministries of health.

Final seminar

The final project conference was held on the 3rd-4th of November in Oulu, Finland. Close to 90 people attended this event with participants from Finland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

The programme included a health cluster event “Innovating rural health and social services in the Northern Periphery” for discussion of gaps leading to finalising terms of reference for a strategic health and rural services project applications.

First International project Seminar and Workshop will be held in Inverness, Scotland, United Kingdom, on the 4th and 5th of February, 2009. This meeting will bring together the different stakeholders and actors as health care sites will be matched with the eHealth service to be piloted.

eHealth and telemedicine Conference in Oulu

The 14th Finnish National Conference on telemedicine and eHealth will be held in Oulu on the 2nd and 3rd of April. Competitive Health Services project will be presented in this conference, along with other interesting speakers such as Dr. Mancini from European Space Agency. Dr. Mancini will talk about ESA user driven space applications and Space for Health. Dr. Shiratori from Japan will talk about a Clinical Cockpit and advanced solutions for hospital health information management.
